Friday 6th June was one for the books at the Liverpool Beatles Museum, as we welcomed none other than Max Weinberg, legendary drummer of the E Street Band, for a very special evening of stories, rhythm, and rock ’n’ roll nostalgia.

What began as a one-off show quickly turned into two, after the first sold out in record time. With Bruce Springsteen playing Anfield either side of the event, the buzz was electric and Max didn’t disappoint. Intimate, warm, and full of anecdotes from decades on the road, the evening gave fans a rare look behind the curtain of one of music’s most iconic bands.

From tales of touring with The Boss to sharing how The Beatles shaped his musical journey, Max captivated the room with his sharp wit and genuine charm. Guests were treated to a personal and memorable experience, a stark contrast to the stadium shows that bookended his Liverpool visit.

The Meet & Greet was a special addition, giving fans the chance to connect with Max in person and take home some unforgettable memories.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for making it such a brilliant night. And to Max, you’re welcome back on Mathew Street anytime!
