At the Liverpool Beatles Museum, every visitor brings with them a unique story, but this month, we had the pleasure of hosting some truly special guests!

One such visitor was the esteemed lyricist Tim Rice, who graced our halls ahead of his appearance at the Liverpool Playhouse. Known for his legendary collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber and his iconic work on numerous musicals, Rice found a moment to immerse himself in our exhibits, and was delighted to see his very own reading from John Lennon’s ‘In His Own Write’ on display on our second floor. He was thrilled to be part of the display and dubbed the museum a “marvellous place”.

Joining the ranks of our distinguished guests was Julie Rossow, daughter of the late Mal Evans, whose association with The Beatles as their trusted road manager and friend remains etched in history. Rossow had some amazing stories to share with us about her dad, adding a personal touch to the historical significance of the artifacts she encountered, especially the photographs capturing Mal with the boys.

Adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to our proceedings was the wonderful Martha Plimpton, who took a break from her appearance at the Liverpool Comic Con to pay us a visit. Plimpton, known for her roles in iconic films like ‘The Goonies’ and her stellar performances on stage, shares a deep-seated passion for The Beatles—a fact that made her excursion to our museum all the more meaningful. Accompanied by her agent Stephanie Youngblood, Martha loved exploring the museum. It was lovely to have her visit us here at the museum, especially considering Plimpton’s previous collaboration with our very own Leanne Best in the acclaimed play ‘Sweat’.

Come and experience the magic for yourself at Liverpool Beatles Museum. Who knows who you might meet?!
